HOW DO I FIND OUT WHAT METRO TEAM OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE?

Visit our Metro Team page.

HOW DO I BEGIN SERVING?

Sign up to attend LIFE TRACK.

HOW OFTEN DO I VOLUNTEER?

Frequency will depend on the role and area you serve in, however the majority of volunteers serve on an every-other-week schedule.

DO YOU DO BACKGROUND CHECKS?

Yes. We do background checks on all Metro Kids volunteers and selective background checks are administered on many other volunteer roles as well.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Metro volunteers are are allowed to wear what they prefer. We just ask that your attire represents not only the culture of our ever-evolving, modern church, but that it is also modest and clean. Metro Kids volunteers are required to wear volunteer t-shirts. Depending on their particular role, select volunteers wear Metro Volunteer lanyards. Your team leader will provide lanyards if they are required for your role.

WHAT IF I AM INTERESTED IN LEADERSHIP?

Contact your team leader or a staff member at your location to talk about leadership roles.

WHAT IF I HAVE A SCHEDULING CONFLICT?

When a volunteer has a conflict, they are responsible for communicating their situation to their team leader and by also declining their schedule request in Planning Center, which is our volunteer scheduling software.

DO I SIT IN THE WORSHIP EXPERIENCE WHEN I SERVE?

We want every volunteer to attend the worship experience each weekend. Your team leader can give instructions on where to sit, and when to enter and leave the auditorium in a way that limits distractions.

CAN I BRING A FRIEND TO SERVE WITH ME?

We want you to not only invite your friends and family to worship with us on the weekend, but to invite them to become a part of our volunteer teams too. The best way to get started is to bring them to the 411 Center so they can sign up to attend our LIFE TRACK.
